About our Founder

Brett Jocelyn ("BJ") Epstein is U.S. born and educated. She received her Ph.D. in translation studies from Swansea University in Wales, following a number of years of living in Sweden. She now lives in England, where she is a lecturer in literature and translation at the University of East Anglia. Dr. Epstein is the author of many publications, including a textbook on English language training, and recently organized a major Nordic translation conference. She holds a BA in literature and creative writing from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, USA, and an MFA in fiction from Queens University in North Carolina, USA.
